Since opening in 2002, ACET Vietnam has grown in size and reputation to become known as the leading provider of Academic English Pathways and IELTS Preparation Programs. These pathways and programs have been the starting point of long academic careers providing language training and test preparation for thousands of students helping them to successfully gain entrance to numerous overseas undergraduate and postgraduate study programs.
ACET programs are intensive and demanding from day one. The ACET program simulates studying overseas so all students, regardless of level, through the medium of English using mainly INSEARCH textbooks. ACET students are taught language and study skills to the same rigorous standards that are applied in Australia. On enrolling at ACET all students are required to sign a declaration that they will abide by ACET’s strict rules of enrolment in regard to study and attendance.
ACET courses are extremely successful in preparing students for the IELTS test. Over 80% of ACET students achieve their desired IELTS Band Score. However, the curriculum designed and developed by INSEARCH focuses on English for Academic purposes. ACET has never been a quick-fix ‘cram school’ focused only on exam preparation. ACET takes a long-term educational approach which prioritises the language and study skills required for successful transition to life and study at international university courses overseas.
ACET’s highly trained Counsellors and support staff are on hand to ensure that students gain maximum learning from their course. The one-to-one advice and assistance offered is a significant feature of ACET’s success.
ACET is a cooperative venture between INSEARCH Institute at the University of Technology Sydney and IDP Education Pty Ltd. These are two international leading organizations prominent in international education and training. There are five ACET training centres, two in Hanoi and three in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to Academic English and IELTS preparation courses, in 2012, ACET extended its Academic Program pathway to young learners, with the First Steps program starting courses for students as young as 11 years old.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Development:
Contributing to the strategic planning of annual or long term marketing plans of ACET to drive forward agreed company objectives.
Liaising with counterparts in ACET-Hanoi and IDP for cross-marketing opportunities
Assist the Marketing Manager in creating sales plans to achieve targets
Planning and implementation for marketing activities to increase ACET’s brand presence, market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance
Developing new market, partners and customers and maintain channels partners and other relationships to promote ACET English Programs: at secondary schools, high schools, universities, companies, business networks and suppliers. Internally with different related and supporting staff and departments
Contacting and dealing with corporate customers/partners/schools
Managing the production, effective distribution and displaying of marketing materials, (leaflets, posters and flyers, brochures, banners, digital materials, joint materials, etc.) in cooperation with counterparts in ACET-Hanoi and IDP
Writing, proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers
PR and Media
Maintaining relationships with MD clients and advertising agencies, as required
Working with external PR and other suppliers to gain high quality customer inquiries
Marketing Events and Activities
Organizing online and offline marketing
Attending events and exhibitions, including joint events with IDP and Insearch
Organizing sponsored events at schools or recruiting events at ACET schools, including workshops, seminars, Open Days
Working directly with schools (secondary school, high school and university) for event organizing, banner and poster hanging, leaflets distribution.
Managing sponsorship/scholarship programs with partners
Manage and control budget and identify advertising opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities, including gathering publications and promotion information of other schools
Daily, weekly, monthly report of sales, MKG activities and expenses, monitor cost per inquiry and cost per new sales.
Admin tasks and internal duties
Other tasks required by Marketing Manager.
University graduate, in Marketing or other Economics majors
2 years’ experience in marketing field, including, online, offline and content marketing, writing and editing articles and PR news
Knowledge of the education industry
Experience with event organization
Proficiency in computer skills: Word, Excel, PPT
English level required equivalent of 6.0 of IELTS
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Creative and strong planning skills
Can-do attitude, willing to handle multiple tasks, be able to perform under pressure
Be able to work independently but also a good team player
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
